A foreclosed house on the South East side of the residential area can be bought for $20,000. In order to buy this house the player needs to have an ATM balance of $20,000 and can buy the house by interacting with the For Sale sign in the driveway. Upon purchase, this house will have several junk and garbage objects which can be hauled to the dump and/or junkyard if you feel like it.

The house comes with three garage door remotes which can be found inside the garage on one of the workbenches. The remotes can be mounted to the driver's side sun visor of the Diamondback, Dentside, or Eagle.

The garage has a hydraulic lift, a battery charger, and a faucet/hose on the outside. The primary bedroom has a bed which will restore sanity and will always wake the player at 6:30AM. A laptop computer for missions and saving can be found on a desk in the living room. Unlike the last home, the lights are turned on or off with the light switches.

A third bucket for moonshine can be found by the side of the garage. This bucket can be obtained before buying the house.
The brewery is a more profitable and efficient way to supply your bar with alcohol.

Initial Setup
Buy the warehouse from Marvin and have him build all of the necessary components.

Supplies
Hops can be bought from Ruby. Barley can initially be obtained from Ruby until you exhaust her supply. You can then use Farming to obtain a large amount of barley.

Process
-Place the barley bags near the vacuum pipe of the grain silo and press the button near the pump to suck them in.

-Use the computer to move 10% of the silo's barley into the milling machine, which automatically mills and dispenses into the mashing machine. All batches are done in 10% increments.

-Once the mashing machine has finished, use the computer to move the mash to the filtration machine.

-When filtration has finished, move the fluid to the boiler. Hops must be placed into the boiler before or during boiling.

-When boiling is finished, use the computer to send the unfermented beer through the chiller and into the fermentation tank. The fermentation process can take several days depending on the settings you chose, however, the fermentation tank can hold up to 10 batches from the boiler.

-If you have a lager tank, once fermentation is complete, use the computer to send the beer to the lager tank. This tank has the same large capacity as the fermentation tank.

-Once the beer has completed its time in the lager tank, send it to storage, which automatically moves it through the pasteurizer and CO2 modules if you have them installed, and into the storage tank.

Bottling
With beer in the storage tank, buy some boxes of bottles at the Packaging Supplier and load them into the intake chute. Turn on the bottler using the switch at the front of the bottling machine. The machine will combine the bottles and beer from your storage silo and output a box of bottled beer.

Selling
Packaged beer can be sold at your bar, or can be consumed like regular beer.

Calibration
The brewery computer has a setting for each adjustable component within the brewery system. These settings help you increase the quality and value of your beer. There are no instructions on how to find the perfect settings, you have to rely on NPC feedback.

NPC Clues
After completing all or most of an NPC's questline, they will show up at your bar between 6:00pm to 2:00am on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. If your manufactured beer is in stock, some of them will notice a unique imperfection. Nari will complain about carbonation levels until you get the setting perfected. Marvin provides a wide range of feedback. NPCs like Jiggs Casey only drink moonshine. Other NPCs will give you clues on getting each component of your brewery calibrated perfectly.

Fluid Ratios
Beer is produced in batches which fill 10% of the storage/lager/fermentation tanks. If you change your parameters partway through the process, the different flavor profiles will mix, making it difficult to determine what you did wrong and what you did correctly. Flavor profiles get mixed based on the volume of what you're adding vs the volume and attributes you're mixing it with. A good strategy is to isolate your variables with small batches, then start mass producing once you have a good recipe.

Staggering Production
The milling->mashing->filtering->boiling process is quick. The fermentation and lager tanks consume most of the production time. Once the unprocessed beer has advanced to a new stage, you can begin work on an earlier stage.

::-A motel with four beds now exists behind the Sheriff station(free to use).

If your manufactured beer is in stock, some of them will mention something unique about the beer if something is not perfected.

The milling->mashing->filtering->boiling process is fairly quick. The fermentation and lager tanks consume most of the production time. Once the unprocessed beer has advanced to a new stage, you can begin work on an earlier stage.

Moonshine is a strong homemade alcohol created using water, sugar, cornmeal, and yeast.

Distilling Moonshine
Moonshine is stored in jar crates which can be bought at the Packaging Supplier west of the gas station. Full crates can be sold to Jake as part of his final mission.

Moonshine can be manufactured using items from the gas station, a bucket, and a distillery.

Bucket Location #1: At the moonshine distillery.

Bucket Location #2: Inside the blue cargo container west of town.

Bucket Location #3: Near the optional home to buy.

Recipe
Recipe given in the in-game moonshine journal:
6 packages of sugar
2 packages of cornmeal
1 packet of yeast
water
(Note: This is not an ideal recipe. Sugar will increase alcohol volume while compromising quality. Cornmeal will produce quality alcohol, but in lower volumes. A better recipe should use 6lbs of cornmeal and 2lbs of sugar.)

Water is obtained using the faucet at the garage or the faucet at the gas station.

Drop all solid ingredients into the bucket and place the bucket under a faucet.

Once the ingredients are combined in the bucket, place the lid on the bucket and it will eventually begin to make a bubbling noise. The fermentation will stop after about 24 in-game hours.

Distillery
Pour the bucket's contents into the makeshift cooker(keg) by opening the keg's lid and positioning the bucket close enough until you see the ✔️ symbol. The cooker can hold four buckets. To maximize profit, it is recommended you cook moonshine in batches of four buckets.

It is recommended you connect a fully-charged car battery to the water pump. This will help with cooling and increase the final quality of your moonshine. You can recharge any battery at the charger in your garage.

Turn on the propane tank valve to start burner.

Moonshine will accumulate in the output vat. To bottle your moonshine, drop a crate of empty jars into the vat and pick up the newly-formed crate of bottled moonshine. Enough moonshine needs to be present in the vat to create the full crate.

Keep an eye on your battery throughout the whole distilling process.

Full crates can be sold to Jake, who resides in the far North-Eastern part of the residential area. Completing Jake's quests is necessary for him to begin buying moonshine from the player.

Infusion
Moonshine can be infused with various fruit items found throughout the map. You will need an Infuser Module which can be bought from the table at Jiggs Casey's house. The infuser can be dragged and dropped between the thumper keg and the coil. Fruit items can be dragged and released into the attached infuser. The fruit in the diffuser will dissolve after a couple crates worth of moonshine have flowed through it. Allowing uninfused moonshine to mix with infused moonshine in the vat will dilute the infusion and can lead to a batch of regular moonshine. Mixing flavors will result in the dominant flavor presiding, so it's recommended to finish bottling up the vat before adding a different fruit.

Fruit
Blackberry bushes can be found in the junkyard and near the auto parts store. Not all blackberry bushes can be harvested. They will drop a bag of blackberries.

A lime tree can be found on the island in the lake.

An orange tree can be found off of a backroad near the bridge leading to the junkyard.

An ambrosia bush can be found near the cryptex puzzle in the North East part of the map.

Fruit will respawn after sleeping.

Location
It is recommended you have a vehicle with moderate upgrades and mud tires, as the road leading to the distillery is muddy. From town, follow the road to the water tower, and instead of turning left up the hill to the water tower, continue straight. At the end of this road you will find the distillery near the river side.

High Spirits Bar
The High Spirits bar can be unlocked by completing Jake's questline, selling him a batch of high quality moonshine, buying the black cargo container in town, then sleeping to advance the day. Tobacco and moonshine can be sold here for additional profit. The bar will also spawn the Texas Holdem NPCs.

Dumping Full Buckets
Contents of the bucket can be dumped into the blue barrel behind the garage. This can be useful if you get your ratios incorrect and would rather start over than go through the process of refining a dubious batch.

-Once filtration has finished, move the fluid to the boiler. Hops must be placed into the boiler before or during boiling.

-When boiling is finished, use the computer to send the unfermented beer through the chiller and into the fermentation tank. The fermentation process can take several days depending on the settings you chose, however, the fermentation tank can hold up to 10 batches.

-If you have a lager tank, once fermentation is complete, use the computer to send the beer to the lager tank. This tank has the same large capacity as the fermentation tank.

-Once the beer has completed its time in the lager tank, send it to storage, which automatically moves it through the pasteurizer and CO2 modules

Sheriff Rex Langford usually spawns a day or two after doing the beer run for Jake. Jake will mention his arrival in one of his emails to you. On an existing save, the Sheriff will already be present if your game has progressed past this point. The Sheriff is mostly self-explanatory and will tell you what crimes you are being charged with, what is going to happen to you, and what you need to do.

Location
The Sheriff's station is located about 100m south of the gas station. The Sheriff will usually be found here, although he will patrol random areas of the map such as the junkyard, the residential area, and he will sometimes exit his vehicle and hang out near the gas station.

Crimes
Excessive Speed<br>
DUI<br>
Evading Arrest/Detention<br>
Possession(Moonshine)<br>
Reckless Driving<br>
Hit and Run<br>
Headlamps on Vehicle<br>
Open Container<br>
Theft(fuel)<br>

Behavior
If you are committing a crime within the visibility range of the Sheriff, he will either pursue you on foot or attempt to initiate a traffic stop. The Sheriff will also pursue you if you have committed a crime in the past but managed to evade arrest.

Traffic Stop
Stopping is generally recommended because the Sheriff might let you off with a warning. Failing to stop will result in additional charges later on.
After stopping your vehicle, the Sheriff will approach and tell you why you were stopped. In addition to the original reason for the stop, you will get charged with a DUI if you are drunk. If you are not drunk but have beer cans in or around your vehicle, you will either get a warning or a ticket for open container.
If you are not arrested, the officer will hand you a ticket before leaving.

Arrest
If your crime is serious enough, the officer will attempt to get close enough to handcuff you. If you are handcuffed, he will bring you to his vehicle and transport you to jail. After a short time in jail, you will receive a citation you will need to pay within three days. Depending on how serious your crime is, your vehicle may or may not get impounded.

Tickets
Tickets exist in the form of physical objects given to you by the Sheriff. Tickets can be paid off by interacting with them and clicking the circled amount due. Failing to pay off a ticket after several days will result in an arrest warrant. If you lose a ticket, the Sheriff can print new ones if you speak to him while he's in the guard shack near the impound lot.

Impound
If you really screw up, your vehicle may get impounded. You can recover your vehicle by talking to the Sheriff when he is sitting inside the guard booth near the Sheriff's station. The sheriff will steal any loose boxes of beef-a-reeno in your vehicle prior to impounding it.

What not to do
Don't ferment moonshine in a public area where the Sheriff might see you. If the Sheriff sees you near a bucket containing alcohol, you will be arrested and the bucket's contents will be emptied. The same applies to carrying or driving with crates of processed moonshine. Unlike your friends who sell it, you don't have a license to possess it.

Pay for your fuel after refuelling. Putting this off could result in a theft charge.

Evade arrest if you're carrying a load of moonshine. An evasion charge is probably cheaper than losing all of your moonshine to a traffic stop.

Pay off your tickets. If you have too many outstanding warrants, the Sheriff will show up to your home when you are sleeping and arrest you.

Getting Started
Junkyard Truck takes place around the year 2003 in the Pacific Northwest. The game begins with an email from Johnny Junks about a 1982 Diamondback truck which recently arrived at the Junkyard. The Diamondback is a legendary truck known for its durability. The player's objective is to buy this truck, get it running, and then use it to complete various objectives and jobs around the map. See Initial Repairs if you have trouble getting your truck started. The player must earn money to take care of basic needs, such as hydration, hunger, fuel, expenses for production jobs such as creating Moonshine, and costs related to maintaining and upgrading the Diamondback.

Saving
Saving is only available at the computer terminal located in the player's home garage, at the payphone at the auto parts store, the payphone at the junkyard, or the payphone in the scrap pile near the moonshine still.

Recovery/Tow Service
Breaking down or getting a vehicle stuck beyond all hope can happen very easily. The player is equipped with a Phone which provides several recovery options for a small fee.

Inventory
The player has a small inventory which can be accessed with (TAB). Items and cash can be added to the inventory by holding them and pressing (i) or (CenterMouse). Only small items can be added to the inventory.
